Welcome! This is My Story, This is My Song

I have a story to share. A story of pain, despair, physical and mental torture . . . And hope.

I want to share my valley of the shadow of death because someone may need this one day. Because my cancer is so rare that there’s no one else who can relate.

I am one in 246 million (give or take). One of thirty documented cases. One who has survived by a teeny tiny thread. One who is still under surveillance and understands how that changes the rest of your life.

This is a way for me to document my Ewing’s sarcoma of the pancreas experience, recovery, and future with my new normal. I’m a creator and so I have this natural need to create . . . hopefully I’m creating something useful for both you and me.

    2. Hi Christina. Just saw your blog. I’ve been praying for you I will be going into surgery friday May 27 th To remove some melanoma from my face. I know it not what you went through, but hearing that word cancer is a very bad word to me. I’m so happy that your on the road to recovery. God bless you. you have touch me not to worry.

      1. The “c” word is so hard to hear no matter location, size, stage! I think we need to come up with another word for it. Like maybe “my body had an oops so I gotta get it fixed.” 😆

I am praying over you right now! Turn any worry over to God because he has the BEST plan for you.

  2. Beautiful and wonderfully said. I look forward to hearing your story….

Oh Christina, you are so brave! I am sure God has you doing this for a number of reasons. I can see you are creative, well spoken and I am sure that there will be that one person, and maybe more, that will be helped and encouraged by your story. I look forward to hearing more from you and God will lead the way for you. You are a beautiful young woman inside and out. Prayers for you and your husband Nelson. He is an amazing help to you. God found you the perfect mate. God Bless you and your whole family of loved ones.
